In early 1990 I became the owner of my first dog, a Rottweiler male named 'Arco'. A year later I bought a Belgian Tervuren, AXL. They both grew old with me.
After their death I went looking for a dog that was very similar to both the Rottweiler and the Belgian Tervuren. I was looking for a dog that was eager to work, active, loyal and balanced. When the Beauceron crossed my path, the choice was made and with my first puppy came the love for this breed into my life.

Now I live on a farm in Zevenhuizen. I wanted to add another breed to the pack. It had to be a family dog, with friendly behaviour, social towards both people and animals. Yet it also had to be a breed that could keep up with my Beaucerons, meaning active and eager to work.
When I met the Lagotto Romagnolo at dog school, the breed instantly appealed to me. After a thorough selection I bought my first Lagotto pup in 2008.

I enjoy breeding litters and now and then we keep a puppy. That is how the pack has grown. Several Beaucerons live with us, along with five Lagotto's.
